with Our School Sports Programs
If there is one thing we have learned over the years and that is physical education should be fun!
In addition, successful PE/Sports/Fitness programs should have structure and variety. Combine these three key elements together and you have the foundation of a fantastic program that kids will love and want to come back to participate in time and time again.
Our Programs
FiT AS
FiT AS (Fitness Testing & Assessment Scorecard) is a revolutionary new online Fitness Testing & Assessment tool that allows primary schools to accurately and objectively measure and monitor the fitness levels of their students (Yrs3-6). Testing is conducted 3 times per year allowing us to track trends, identify gaps in current PE/Sports programming and recommend intervention strategies to improve the students' fitness levels.
Unite-It
Unite-It is our fun Team Building and Team Leadership program designed to help prepare students for their senior years in primary school and beyond. This program focuses on understanding the core values of becoming an inspirational leader through a range of thought-provoking and team based challenges throughout the day. Students get to learn responsibility, accountability, negotiation, planning and execution via a number of fun physical and mental games and events.
Aquat-Ic
Our structured Swim program (Kinder-Yr6) uses accredited Swim Australia Coaches to cover basic 'learn to swim' principles all the way through to 'advanced' sessions. This program covers Stroke Technique & Development, Diving, Underwater Retrieval, Enter/Exit and Water Safety/Awareness strategies as well as 'Play Safe' games.
Flex-It
Strength & Conditioning program (Yr5-12) using small dumbbells, aerobic steps and mats, choreographed to funky, well-known music that the kids love.
It develops lower and upper body strength across all major muscle groups.
Flip-It
Gymnastics program (Kinder-Yr12) using the latest of gymnastics equipment (crash landing mats, springboards, mini-tramps, wedges, vaults, balance beams, tumble mats, etc.) to back-ground music. It covers static balance and sequential floor routines to help develop strength and balance.
Box-It
Boxercise program (Yr5-12) for those students who are looking for that extra challenge and lift in their physical fitness, using fast, upbeat background tunes. Program covers exercises for core and upper body strength creating speed and a spatial awareness of what is happening around them. Combinations are introduced to improve brain functionality and to reduce reaction times.
Shake-It
Contemporary and Hip-Hop style dance programs (Kinder-Yr12) delivered by professionally trained Dance Teachers, using the latest tracks that the children love to shake their bodies to. It focuses on coordination, timing and use of feet and arms to carefully selected music, covering all requirements of the PDHPE Syllabus for Dance. Our qualified Dance Teachers can also choreograph and teach a variety of genres (Latin, Foxtrot, Rumba, Waltz, Tango, Cha cha) and Indigenous.
Circ-It
Our circuit based physical activity program (Kinder-Yr12) uses a broad range equipment at various exercise stations to focus on strength, conditioning and cardio, set to background music. Each station works a different part of the body and muscle groups, allowing focus on overall physiological development. Kids love the variety that this type of program offers.
Play-It
Offering a range of sports specific programs (Kinder-Yr12) to ensure coverage of team based games within the curriculum (e.g. Soccer, Touch Footy, AFL, Basketball, Volleyball, Netball, Hockey, Handball, etc.) This program focuses on team inclusion and participation and creating awareness about playing fairly with others. Individual skill development and team work skills are critical components within this program
Athlet-Ic
Offering skill development and technique improvement training (Kinder-Yr12) across all events typically associated with Athletics (e.g. Sprints, Relays, Endurance Running, Long Jump, High Jump, Discus, Shot Put, Javelin, etc.). TRANSFORM-US Fitness for Kids also has experience running Athletics Carnivals for schools and managing/coordinating all events (including Tabloid for the Junior School) and working with volunteer parents to create a fun atmosphere to make the event memorable for the school Carnival.
Stretch-It
Our Yoga/Balance/Relaxation Program (Kinder-Yr12) designed to reduce stress levels, improve strength, balance and flexibility and create a calming and restful environment. Using our mats, props and soothing background music, our qualified Yoga Teachers bring life to games and individual exercises for the children to follow and complete. Yoga is often taught through story-telling, which is a wonderful way to introduce these types of programs to the younger students.
Crunch-It
Our Core (tummy) program (Yr5-12) focuses on strength and conditioning of the tummy using mats and resistance bands. The key to having a stronger body is to having a developed and strengthened core. This program focuses on fun, structured exercises to develop the core, helping to build confidence in all other aspects of physical activity.
Raise-It
Cardio step program (Yr5-12) uses aerobic steps, with moves choreographed to hot beats that the kids know and love. This program raises the heart rate and challenges students to move to the time of the music, whilst following choreographed step sequences under the guidance of a qualified Step Teacher.
